Brief description:

Come to the unveiling of the historical kiosk “Honoring Filipino Americans in Chinatown International District 1911-2010”.   Listen to stories of growing up in Chinatown ID, working, playing, organizing and building a community there.  Unveil the kiosk with major art work “The Philippine Sun Kindles the Salmon Run” by Weng Gavino, intaglio mural artist.  Have a light tasty Filipino lunch and tour the Chinatown ID through Filipino American eyes for free.
